Over the past four years, through the Vaccine Equity Cooperative and Community-Based Workforce Alliance, we established a national community of health equity champions - spreading best practices, sharing timely updates, and uplifting equity-driven policy recommendations. We know that the need for collaborative health equity efforts is far from over, especially as the attacks against racial health equity work continue. With the launch of the Health Equity Community Collaborative (HECC), together we can meet the moment through a mission to embed belonging, collective care, and people power to transform the inequitable systems surrounding us.
We are so excited to invite you to the first HECC Community Gathering, a space where we will continue to co-create what it means to collectively navigate, respond to, and solve deep-rooted racial health inequities. Please join us on August 6th, where we will:
